I just watched an hour long Michael Jackson stage concert on the television called Michael Jackson – The Last Time. I’m fairly sure I saw Eva Amurri (Susan Sarandon’s daughter) in the audience. I don’t know when this special was produced. Maybe before NSync split because they came on stage with him. As did Slash, Elizabeth Taylor and Chris Tucker. And the first half of the concert was all stuff from Jackson 5 days performed by Michael and his five brothers (yes, I know that makes six).
Anyway, that’s not what I wanted to say.
What I wanted to say is,
Oh. My. God. What an amazing and enormous talent this world has lost.

Amen.
We went to the EMP in Seattle on Weds. and they had MJ videos playing on this huge screen as you enter. People we huddled around, dancing, having a blast. I even got a pic of MJ’s jacket and glove.
It really is difficult to fathom…
Even though I saw his Memorial Service, it still doesn’t seem real. Even though I was looking at his casket, all I could think was “How can this be? This just isn’t right.”
My heart goes out to his children. How do you explain to a 12 year old, an 11 year old and a 7 year old that their daddy, the only parent they’ve ever known, the daddy that they love is gone? “Think of all the good memories” hardly cuts it for an adult grieving for a loved one, so it doesn’t even come close for a child.
I’m still in denial myself. SMH.
Yup, me too Akeelers.
